La agrupación Madre Tul es fundada por el músico boliviano Hernán Ergueta en el año 2003 integrando a la cantante chilena July Marín y el flautista boliviano Nelson Vargas. En el año siguiente se suman al proyecto: la cantante Katty Rougcher (Bolivia), el cantante Panchi Maldonado (Bolivia), las violinistas Molly Janz (Canadá) y Miet Chielens (Bélgica) y el músico Hiroaki Miyahara (Japón).

Entre los años 2005 y 2006 colaboran con Madre Tul los músicos bolivianos Gustavo Orihuela (violín), Sally Salinas (canto), Freddy Mendizabal (teclados) y la violinista alemana Connie Nell entre otros artistas invitados. Si bien Madre Tul nace como trio ha llegado a tener diez músicos sobre el escenario, presentándose en pubs, centros culturales y como grupo de acompañamiento para bailarinas de Bellydance.

A finales del año 2006 se publica el CD "Madre Tul" conteniendo versiones de clásicos árabes grabados en vivo y composiciones propias.

En el año 2007 el proyecto de Madre Tul se traslada a Barcelona, España, con una nueva formación compuesta por el músico boliviano Hernán Ergueta, el bajista italiano Roberto Cantoni, la cantante española Beni Méndez y el músico argentino Walter Fernández. Un año más tarde se sumaría el percusionista español Héctor Font, la cantante italiana Giusy Caruso, el percusionista italiano Enrico Stano y el bajista marroquí Mohammed El Fzari. En diciembre del mismo año, Madre Tul inicia la grabación del CD "Frases Aladas" en el Estudio Garsilaso de Barcelona. Participan en esta grabación las cantantes Beni Mendez y Giusy Caruso, los percusionistas Enrico Stano y Wadith Allahut, el bajista Mohammed El Fzari, el violinista Gustavo Orihuela y en el acordeón Hernán Ergueta.

A inicios del 2009 esta grabación es llevada al estudio Nomada Records, en La Paz Bolivia, donde se graban dos nuevas canciones y se hace los arreglos, edición y masterización de la totalidad de las canciones del disco. Participan en esta segunda parte de la grabación la cantante July Marín, el flautista Nelson Vargas, Panchi Maldonado (percusión y coros), Freddy Mendizabal (teclados), Alberto Rocabado (bajo y contrabajo), Juan Pablo Villalba (arreglo de guitarras), Luis Fernando Altuzarra (zampoñas) y Sebastián Fernández (batería).

En diciembre de 2009 se publica dos videoclips: “Cuándo será el día”, filmado en Barcelona (España) y “El Bragni”, filmado en La Paz (Bolivia). En el mismo mes se inicia la grabación del tercer disco de Madre Tul, llevada a cabo en Bolivia, Chile, España y Turkia.

The band Madre Tul is founded the year 2003 by the bolivian music Hernan Ergueta, integrating the band: The Chilean singer July Marín and the bolivian flautist Nelson vargas. The following year, more people incorporate the band: The bolivian singers Katty Rougcher and Panchi Maldonado, The Canadian violinist Molly Janz, the Belgium violininst Miet Chielens and the Japanese musician Hiroaki Miyahara. During the years 2005 and 2006 the Bolivian musicians ; Gustavo Orihuela (violin), Sally Salinas (singer), Freddy Mendizabal (key boards) and the German Connie Nell (violin) among other musicians participated with Madre Tul.

Even though Madre Tul was born as threesome , It had over 10 musicians on stage, performing in different pubs, cultural spaces and as back up for belly dancers. By end of the year 2006, Madre Tul´s C.D is published, containing versions of classic alive Arabic music and own compositions.

By the year 2007, Madre Tul´s project moves to Barcelona, Spain, with a new group of integrants composed by the Bolivian musician Hernan Ergueta , the Italian bass player Roberto Cantoni, The Spanish singer Beni Mendez and the Argentinean musician Walter Fernández.

A year later, the Spanish percussionist, Héctor Font, the Italian singer Giusy Caruso, the Italian percussionist Enrico Stano and the Moroccan bass player Mohammed El Fzari gather the band.

In December of the same year, Madre Tul starts recording the C.D “ Frases Aladas” “Phrases with wings” at the “Garsilaso Studio” in Barcelona. During this time, Beni Mendez, Giusy Caruso, the percussionists Enrico Stano, Wadith Allahut, the bass player Mohammed El Fzari, the violinist Gustavo Orihuela and the accordionist  Hernán Ergueta participated in the recording.

At the beginning of the year 2009, the recording is taken to “Nomada Records” in La Paz, Bolivia, where two new songs are recorded, some arrangements are done, and the editing and mastering of the disc is totally completed. The singer July Marín, the percussionist and singer Panchi Maldonado, the key border player Freddy Mendizabal, The Bass, double bass player Alberto Rocabado, The guitarist Juan Pablo Villalba, The zampoña player Luis Fernando Altuzarra and the drums player Sebastían Fernández participated in the recording of the second part of the album.

In december 2009 two videos were published: “Cuándo será el día”, shooted in Barcelona (España) and “El Bragni”, shooted in La Paz (Bolivia). At the same time starts the record of the third album of Madre Tul, developed in Bolivia, Chile, Spain and Turkey.
